| Our Story Griffin Home
Builders, Inc., a corporation established in 1996, formerly a sole
proprietorship owned and operated by Glenn H. (Bud) Griffin and
Linda R. Griffin, has been in operation since 1979.
Bud began in the construction industry at the age of 13, working
as a laborer for his fathers masonry business. After graduating
from Seaford High School in 1970, he majored in Architectural
Drafting and Design at Delaware Technical and Community College.
When his schooling was complete, Bud worked for National Cash
Register as a tool designer. He soon returned to the family
business of Griffin Masonry as a foreman and mason for eight
years. After eight years, he left Griffin Masonry and started
Griffin Home Builders.
Linda Griffin graduated from Lewes High School in 1968, and
obtained an Associates Degree in the legal secretarial field from
Delaware Technical and Community College in 1970. After working
for a law firm in Georgetown, Delaware, for seventeen years, she
joined Griffin Home Builders full time in 1989. She coordinates
the bookkeeping and secretarial portions of the business, along
with assisting clients in the areas of construction selections and
settlement paperwork.
Russell Griffin is a 2000 graduate of Seaford High School. He
obtained an Associates Degree in Construction Management and CAD
Design at Delaware Technical Community College. He is in the
process of obtaining his Business Administration degree from
Salisbury University. Russell joined Griffin Home Builders in 2004
and is a project manager for the company. He takes care of
scheduling, ordering materials, and assisting clients with
decisions.
